How can i install *.deb ?

hi,
i'm newbie to arch
i really need to install some *.deb packages on arch,is there any way to do it?thx

You should also search the AUR to make sure that someone else hasn't already created a PKGBUILD for the application(s) that you are wanting to install...

I haven't tried it yet but there's a package which claims to covert .deb to .tar.gz

I would be very surprised if there was a deb package without a corresponding AUR PKGBUILD.

I've found such before. But of course, after I found that software I made an AUR package for it .

In general the AUR doesn't have packages that nobody/very few people use.

you may look at mazrim PKGBUILD

it uses a .deb python source.
