Notebook Shutdown after unpluging power

Hello all..

my notebook shutdown mostly when unpluging power.

When unpluged, notification says...
Battery Discharging
2 minute of battery power remaining (58%)

It didn't when battery is fully charged, but whatever less than 100% it's go for shutdown. It's ok to shutdown when battery is critical low cause I choose that option. Its happening not from some days but from long period, even on my past OS LinuxMint. These days i have to unplug power time to time that's why its bother me most. I choose hibernate option for now.

Battery is ok. (Checked)

May be Kernal issue...

Help me guys..
Cheers..
Thanks in Advance.

Re: Notebook Shutdown after unpluging power

Are you sure your battery is okay? If 58% = 2 minutes, your battery might just be dying (not able to hold charge and therefore triggering the shutdown). Is it old?
