I have plymouth working correctly but I noticed that for this arch theme I'm using called wave (goes from a blue drop of water to the Arch logo on a black background) the boot messages display one by one in the upper left-hand corner when shutting down yet it doesn't display anything when its booting up. Is this normal or is it theme based? I don't really know anything about Plymouth, I just got it working a few days ago.
