Applications in GNOME 3 are all "black".

Hello everybody,

When I open an application in GNOME 3 like Firefox, Nautilus or LibreOffice, the respective application opens but its window is completely black, I can't use it at all.

Do you know what could be causing that?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Applications in GNOME 3 are all "black".

I think you are going to need to provide more information.

1. such as graphics card.
2 which driver you are using?
3. some other background info too if possible. such as;

- was gnome 3 working and all of a sudden now it's stopped working?

- did this happen possibly after a system upgrade?? (i mention this question specifically because yesterday when i updated some xorg stuff, i was getting some nasty artifacts in compiz but then today, when xserver/xorg was fully-upgraded the problems went away.

- logging info might be helpful (but since i don't use gnome-shell, i don't know much about where you need to look. someone else probably will though)

anyway, more info is required for people to be able to help you.

EDIT: does this happen in forced-fallback mode too?
