[SOLVED] knotify4 running at 40% cpu on core2duo 2.8GHz

I'm running Openbox with Amarok and Clementine (Trying to decide which to use) and have noticed that knotify 4 will be rousting my CPU for no reason. Any insight into this problem?

Did you try this yet?

A more extreme fix is

sudo chmod a-x /usr/bin/knotify4

Just remember to repeat each time kdebase-runtime is upgraded.

Thanks you, that did the trick. I folowed your more "extreme" fix and it all seems to be running well now.
