high temperature on video card

I've installed Arch (with xf86-video-ati video drivers) two days ago, and notice that fans on my computer, started working more harder and noisy and temperature of video card (in IDLE) has been increase to +63.0°C (normal temps is 35).
It is possible to somehow fix it?

if you're able to create a patch for the driver, then yes you can fix it
