Blacklisted modules after upgrade

Today i upgraded my installation using "pacman -Syu" but after reboot my network and sound stoped working. After some research i found that they where blacklisted and i don't know why.

To get them back to work i comented some lines as follow:

/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist_net.conf

blacklist mii
#blacklist r8169

/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist_sound.conf

blacklist pcspkr
#blacklist snd-hwdep
#blacklist snd-page-alloc
#blacklist snd-pcm
#blacklist snd-timer
#blacklist snd
#blacklist snd-hda-codec
#blacklist snd-hda-intel
#blacklist soundcore

How can i find why they were blacklisted?, is it safe to use them?
Thanks for your help.
