mutt work offline

I want to read mail in mutt in offline.

offlineimap, fetchmail and getmail requires python.
anyway installed size 70mb, maybe exists alternative?

There's mpop in aur.

Also, you could build fetchmail without python. From README.packaging
in the fetchmail distribution:

- If you want to defeat Python byte-code compilation and would rather like to
  install fetchmailconf.py yourself, you can add

      PYTHON=:

  to the ./configure command or pass this in the environment.  This pretends
  that no Python interpreter were installed.
