[SOLVED] Mounting /home on reinstallation

So, I basically borked my Arch installation, too much installing stuff (it's an addiction), and
deleting stuff, and etc. . .

Now, the problem is can I just mount my /home and have it like it was before the
reinstallation, so none of my data is lost without moving it anywhere? wink

Re: [SOLVED] Mounting /home on reinstallation

If you have your /home on a separate partition this shouldn't be a problem, in the Arch installer you can simply select it as the partition for /home.

No that's not necessary, if you want to change your username you can simply rename the folder on your home partition from UserA to UserB.
