Netcfg + OpenVPN??

I haven't been able to find any resource that tells me how to configure openvpn at the newbie level. Basically, how do I connect to a VPN using netcfg?

P.S. I apologize if this is a question easily answered by a link. The wiki for openvpn isn't easy to understand.

EDIT: Sorry, I said OpenSVN in the title.
