Chrome - google.co.uk opens up as yousee.com

Hi All

This is a very strange one. Over the last week or so sometimes when I click on my home button in Chrome, which is set to google.co.uk, a window opens on yousee.com. The same thing doesnt happen in Firefox though.

Occassionally in the past, when navigating to one of my own local websites, when I've got the setup wrong, I've had a chinese site come up. This has been because my router, Huawei echolife HG520b, redirects error pages to some rubbish chinese sex site. This can't be the issue with Google though surely? It also does the same thing when I enter the address directly after the Home button has misdirected me to yousee.com.

You can hardly enter the wrong address when you're clicking the home button so it can't be that, and besides it doesn't happen in Firefox. Any ideas whatsover will be more than welcome. It's not major but boy is it irritating!!

Thanks In Advance
Rich

Maybe you have set it as your homepage ... somehow? Maybe a script / plugin did it?

Your chinese router redirects you to chinese porn? How consistent.

Rename your chrome folder to something else and run chrome without user configs. If it's gone, it's in your config.

It is indeed and is apparently common with Huawei routers from TalkTalk! If I remember correctly it's when Apache throws a 403 error. I wouldn't mind if the porn was any good..... or at least free....

Anyway, home page is definitely set to http://www.google.com/. I'll try renaming the chrome folder and see if it continues to happen.
