Hello,
i upgraded evolution today and my account did not load and is not working. in the account settings i cannot select groupwise as my server type. when i run evolution i receive these errors:
(evolution:1000): evolution-mail-WARNING **: e_mail_store_add_by_account: Failed to add transport service: No provider available for protocol 'groupwise'
(evolution:1000): evolution-mail-WARNING **: Couldn't get service: my_work@email.address: No provider available for protocol 'groupwise'
i found the following faq when searching for my problem but i honestly have no idea how to apply the solution proposed:
http://live.gnome.org/Evolution/FAQ#Why … ail..22.3F
i also received the errors that follow. i am showing them in case they are related. i cannot guarantee that these errors did not come up before the upgrade because i run evolution in .xinitrc and do not generally see the output:
(evolution:1000): evolution-network-manager-WARNING **: network_manager_query_state: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.NetworkManager was not provided by any .service files
(evolution:1000): GLib-WARNING **: GError set over the top of a previous GError or uninitialized memory.
This indicates a bug in someone's code. You must ensure an error is NULL before it's set.
The overwriting error message was: No provider available for protocol 'groupwise'
if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Same problem here, can't choose Groupwise as account type. I think there should be a package evolution-groupwise, see http://mail.gnome.org/archives/ftp-rele … 00227.html - but it does not exist in extra. There is a package called evolution-exchange though.
