I have a thinkpad x201 (i7 M620 with Intel Graphics HD)
I followed the intel wiki, kms works
I followed the suggestions here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=132172
I tried it both with vsync enabled and disabled...
I enabled webgl in chrome here: chrome://flags/
Firefox: webgl appears to work but performance sucks
Chrome/Chromium: webgl doesn't work in either
Is there anything else I can try? Can I provide any other information that may be useful?

I have had some webgl problems with firefox on chrome apps. Some video cards are blacklisted by google for webgl. Don't know the whole on this but anyway, you can bypass this by editing the chromium desktop file.
sudo nano /usr/share/applications/chromium.desktop
press ctrl-w and type exec
inbetween the the %U and chromium type --ignore-gpu-blacklist
press ctrl-x and then y
You may have to do this everytime a new chromium version comes out but I am not sure.

That didn't seem to do anything. Thanks anyway quasifilmie. I know the intel drivers for webgl are blacklisted in Linux. Webgl runs just fine in windows.
Has anyone had any luck with the xf86-video-intel-git in the aur?

I think you need to downgrade the intel driver in order for webgl to work on chrome iirc. It currently only supports up to a certain version.

I did a search. I don't see which version I would need to use. Do you have a source or happen to know which version I should downgrade to?
this thread indicates that it should work... I have no idea how it could as my setup seems relatively similar...
