Evolution hogging system resources

This has happened to me before - evolution suddenly started using at least 50% of cpu, sometimes %100, also Xorg jumps right up there too if evolution is running. Previously I fixed this problem by disabling sync with google calendar in gnome3 online accounts. Now its back, I haven't reenabled calendar syncing either. Evolution was fine this morning, but not this afternoon. The only thing I can think of is I logged into my google calendar account and enabled a calendar. But that was yesterday and evolution was working fine this morning.

In online accounts everything is disabled except for mail. I have relogged into google calendar from a web browser and turned off all calendars... I am not sure where I should look next. I know there was a bug with evolution and google calendar, but maybe I am looking in the wrong place?

Thanks!
