WebGL with ATI RS690M [Radeon X1200 Series] in Chromium?

I'm trying to see if I can get webGL working with my ATI RS690M [Radeon X1200 Series] card but no luck so far. I'm using the radeon module.

I've made sure that webGL is enabled in chrome://flags and that Chromium starts with the --ignore-gpu-blacklist argument but it still won't work. MrDoob's famous examples all say that my browser has WebGL enabled but that the video card probably doesn't support it.

Can I get WebGL working with my card?

The wiki seems to suggest that it works here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AT … n_Chromium. And also, it works in Windows 7.

You could try passing '--ignore-gpu-blacklist' to chromium. Here it seems to work without problems although a little slow.

Hi there is an option called "Override software rendering list" in chrome://flags that worked like a charm in ATI Mobility Radeon HD3470 with radeon FOSS Driver, also i've exported video acceleration variables, see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AT … celeration; you could check if it is working in chrome://gpu . Hope that help for future searchers.
