I am using Arch-64bit-Gnome3, Shell and other gnome defaults.
While trying to remove my External Hard Disk I noticed that there is NO "Safely Remove" in right click menu. Since I also use and have used other distros with gnome I know that this is feature has always been there. However, in Arch its not there by default. I don't know if this is the 'Arch Way'.
I have 'Disk-Utility' intalled so I was wondering if there is any package that I need to install or any configuration to be set to get this 'Safely Remove' feature in my right click context menu. Without this and using only unmount the External Hard Disk is not completely disabled or deactivated to be safely unpluged.
Please guide me to a proper Solution.
Thanks...

Doesn't Nautilus have an 'Eject' or 'Safely Remove' option when you right click the drive?
I know Thunar and Dolphin has one.
I have made a personal commitment not to reply in topics that start with a lowercase letter. Proper grammar and punctuation is a sign of respect, and if you do not show any, you will NOT receive any help (at least not from me).

Its an upstream change due to udisk2.

Nope. I have 'Remove' button in right click menu but it is greyed out. I get 'eject' button with 'Removable Devices' on the notification bar but it only unmounts the Disk or Drive and does not actually deactivate like it should.
Its an upstream change due to udisk2.
Could you please elaborate?
Thanks for your time...
