[SOLVED] My display got mad! black space under it!

Hi guys,
I don't even know how to explain my problem. Yesterday I upgraded nvidia drivers with nvidia-utils-bumblebee package to 302.17 version, and today I found my display moved upward, with a black space at the bottom. I'm using xmonad. I've never had a problem like this. I've always used nvidia-bumblebee and nvidia-utils-bumblebee drivers, but yesterday I removed nvidia-bumblebee and installed the official nvidia driver, so maybe this problem is due to this different configuration. What can I do to solve it?

I always look into /var/log/Xorg.0.log for the start...

Edit: well... It should be a rule of thumb to ask for help only if we have already done our best to eliminate any PEBKAC possibility...
