[SOLVED] Auto-Mounting Does Not Occur (XFCE)

Hi, so I'm trying to get automounting working under XFCE + Arch64 (SLiM as display manager) and it refuses to work no matter what I do.

I've followed the wiki page on XFCE and I've done what it says here, too.  I have gamin, polkit, and polkit-gnome installed.

inittab:

#
# /etc/inittab
#

# Runlevels:
# 0 Halt
# 1(S)	Single-user
# 2 Not used
# 3 Multi-user
# 4 Not used
# 5 X11
# 6 Reboot

(You can see I've been toggling between using ck-launch and dbus in the exec statement and not using them)

And here's every package installed on my system in case it would help.

As always, any help appreciated!

Re: [SOLVED] Auto-Mounting Does Not Occur (XFCE)

Install gvfs and use thunar and use the second last line in your .xinitrc and it should just work. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Thunar

Re: [SOLVED] Auto-Mounting Does Not Occur (XFCE)

Ps: with slim, his .xinitrc is ok (it handles consolekit automatically).

Re: [SOLVED] Auto-Mounting Does Not Occur (XFCE)

Wow, thanks!  Installing gvfs + depends fixes it (plus I now have a Trash).  Thought I tried that before, hmm.

Marking as [SOLVED].
