Installing Arch alongside Ubuntu.

Dear all,
I would like to try switching to Arch from Ubuntu.
As I use my computer for my work though,
I would like to install Arch along my existing Ubuntu installation, so that if something goes wrong I am able to keep working.

I couldn't find any specific guide for this in the website, so I was wondering if this is possible (I bet yes, but I don't know how),
and if you could link me to some relevant guides for this.

Thanks a lot in advance for the help!
Luca

Re: Installing Arch alongside Ubuntu.

The grub page on the wiki has an entry on dual booting with GNU/Linux

Re: Installing Arch alongside Ubuntu.

You'll probably have to boot with a live Gparted distro to shrink some of the Ubuntu partitions so that you have space for Arch. Try reading the whole installation guide, it will help you understand what you need.
