I fairly new to arch been using kde and decided to go with xfce and when dragging any windows around horizontally the window glitchs and looks like like a line running up from the bottom to the top of the window. this does not happen when dragging vertically nor did I have this issue in kde. I thought it was x confing had xorg.conf generated my nvidia and every thing looks proper thought it might be horizontal refresh, but still can't figure this out. also tried to see if this happens in mate and gnome and it does, but not in kde, so I'm totally confused

ok after finding out this seems to be because of xfwm4 not using opengl and oops I guss this wasn't happing in gnome, now i know this is tearing but if anyone has any recommdations let me know I'm gonna mark this a solved since i know what it is
