Camorama does not find my WebCam

I installed "camorama" from AUR. When I launch it I get:

"Error (camorama): Could not connect to video device (/dev/video0). Please check connection"

I have searched the www for a possible soultion but have not found any.

I have checked connecting my Webcam in ubuntu with camorama and it works fine. It connects with cheese too.

I have not installed 'cheese' yet in Arch_64_Gnome-Shell.
However, the Webcam works fine with SKYPE as "USB2.0 PC CAMERA (/dev/video0) in Arch.

Any pointer(s) by the forum to resolve this will be very helpful...

Thanks...
