I'm using fancontrol. The script itself is working fine, but I have to change it's config on almost every boot because hwmon device name changes. I found this thread: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=151431 , and I used the solution that fixed the problem for OP, but it didn't work for me. I have 4 hwmon devices in /sys/class/hwmon, named hwmon0-3. Only hwmons 1 and 2 appear to switch on boot, others stay the same. Does anyone know a workaround for this problem?
