After installing Skype, it automatically runs at KDE startup. I've checked the following to no avail:
/etc/xdg/autostart
~/.kde4/autostart
~/.config/autostart
I'm not seeing anything related to Skype. Does anyone have any ideas where this autostart is coming from? I also quickly scanned through Skype's settings, and didn't see any checkboxes for "Run Skype at startup", unless I glossed over it.

I'd suggest checking ~/.cache, specifically looking for folders for KDE/KDM or anything related to 'session'.

I'm not seeing anything there. Only folders for Chromium, fontconfig, and xml, and event-sound-cache.tdb

Is Skype running when you log out? By default, KDE will restore whatever applications and windows are open when you log out the next time you log in. If you don't want that, you could make sure to exit Skype before logging out or you could disable the default behaviour in KDE's settings.

Alright, the setting was in System Settings -> Startup and Shutdown -> Session Management.
