Samba package documentation

Hi,

the configuration file /etc/samba/smb.conf.default

tells me to read ENCRYPTION.txt:

# You may wish to use password encryption. Please read
# ENCRYPTION.txt, Win95.txt and WinNT.txt in the Samba documentation.

I cannot find this file on my local machine, and I probably shouldn't, as the file is not part of the samba package:

https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/samba/

In fact, the only documentation I can see seems to be in man page form.

Am I missing something, or is there some convention concerning documentation that I am not aware of?

Mind you, I am not actually asking about the encryption topic (I have managed to find ENCRYPTION.txt on the web) - I just want to understand where I would be expected to find this documentation.

Thanks!
