[solved] qtfm segfaults

I wanted to have a look at qtfm, but after installing version 5.9-1 I get

$ qtfm
QIODevice::read: device not open
QIODevice::read: device not open
QIODevice::read: device not open
QIODevice::write: device not open
Segmentation fault

Should I run strace, gdb, perform some animal sacrifice, open a bug report ...?

I just installed qtfm and it doesn't segfault... Are you running x86_64 or i686?

Re: [solved] qtfm segfaults

I just installed the i686 version on a different machine and it doesn't segfault either, so I guess that's not the problem. None if it's dependencies appear to be in [testing] either, so this is pretty strange.

It's creator is an Arch user, so it might be worth it to reach out to him about this. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=97669

Sorry guys, I forgot to restart X after updating my graphics drivers. https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/41264
All is well now.
