[SOLVED] SLiM gets stuck at login

Hey, I just installed Arch with Xfce4 and then installed SLiM but when I try to log it says "Failed to execute login command" and restarts itself. How can I either make it work or get into the prompt so I can uninstall it? Thanks in advance!

Change to another TTY, login as root, and remove Slim.

That's the thing - how do I change to another TTY? It just loads into SLiM instantly and automatically.
