Hello, I was installing arch using usb stick following Beginners' guide
after executing pacman -Syyu, messages as follows shows again and again despite executing no command, so I can't continue.
EXT4-fs error (device dm-0): ext4_wait_block_bitmap:494: comm kworker/u8:4: Cannot read block bitmap - block_group = 129, block_bitmap = 4194305
EXT4-fs (dm-0): previous I/O error to superblock detected
EXT4-fs (dm-0): Delayed block allocation failed for inode 1048644 at logical offset 0 with max blocks 1 with error 5
EXT4-fs (dm-0): This should not happen!! Data will be lost.
I doubt if there is something wrong with my partitions or hard drive, so I tried in a virtual machine on Windows, but it makes no difference...
and it seems there is no similar issues on google or something else... any suggestion about this situation? thx a lot...

There is only one instance of that specific flag combination in the Beginner's Guide:
Should you change your mirror list at a later stage, refresh all package lists with pacman -Syyu.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Be … t_a_mirror
You shouldn't need to use that command to successfully install Arch.

Did you use dd to write the ISO to your stick? I had the same exact problems. I figured my USB finally died on me.
