Random Reboots

Hi Guys

Hoping someone can help.

Been using Arch happily for the last 3-4 months, and all has been going fine, but twice over the last short period my laptop has just simply rebooted. Both times I was streaming video in fullscreen mode (Which my laptop does a lot) and then suddenly,  it just restarts, no warning, no overheating, but yet it happens.

Laptop: Acer 5742
Graphics: Intel HD 3000
Ram: 4GB
Kernel: 4.5.1
DE: Mate

It boots up fine again and I can start streaming again, perfectly fine.

Looking at the logs, I cannot see why it would happen.

In both instances, I started streaming around 1pm, and stopped around 10pm, with the exception of the reboot, it streamed constantly during that time, without issue.

Hopefully someone can offer advice or opinion as to what has happened or how I can discover how it happened.

This was the first time:

Is there somewhere else I should be looking apart from  journalctl??

Thanks in Advance

Re: Random Reboots

Manjaro isn't Arch. Please ask on your distro's boards, we only support Arch: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fo … pport_ONLY

Thank you for reopening, and apologies for jumping in for a second post without waiting for a response.
