Can only login to Gnome Wayland (hits cycle if using Gnome)

I run into a login cycle if I attempt to login to Gnome or Gnome Classic (i.e. No error message for wrong password; I hit enter and it just goes back to the same screen immediately). However, I can login to Gnome Wayland. This is my first time downloading the Arch Linux distro so excuse my feeble attempts to explain/ask for help.

you should check systemd journal for errors. Without any logs, we can only guess what could be causing your issue.
