[SOLVED] How to get network applet on Arch Linux GNOME 3.20

I am using Arch Linux with GNOME 3.20.

I am trying to get a network manager applet (tray-icon) wsing which I could easily connect to WiFi networks.

Reading the WiKi pages, as given here : https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wi … atic_setup , I uninstalled

sudo pacman -Rs netctl

and installed networkmanager and  network-manager-applet (which were already installed) and rebooted. But still I am not getting WiFi. I am only able to connect to internet using a wired connection.

Please help me resolve this issue.

Did you start the networkmanager service?
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ne … orkManager
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sy … sing_units

Networkmanager support is integrated in gnome, and network-manager-applet is not needed with gnome-shell.
