Firepro S9050 driver and Archlinux

Hello,

Sorry for this noob question but I'm being offered a Firepro S9050 for cheap and I'd like to know how to install its drivers.

All I've found so far is related to Radeon. Saw that their is a Catalyst-firepro on AUR, but that's about it.

The S9050 is based on the HD7950, but has 12GB of ECC memory and is a dual slot passive card.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Re: Firepro S9050 driver and Archlinux

If it has the same chipset as the HD7950, it should run fine with the xf86-video-ati and radeonsi mesa driver.

Unless you need OpenCL support though, that's still mediocre or worse with the  open driver.

any chance you can get lspci -k  output for that card ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
