odd resolution but linux thinks its fine

im on the budgie desktop and the desktop got a lower resolution . i dont know what it was. an update or directx in wine or what. it says everywhere its fine but i can tell its smaller. even some stuff dont fit on screen any more.
same monitor position same resolution(according to linux) everything. and resetting it doesn't work.

Your post contains no useful information: card, driver, xrandr output, etc.
