I recently obtained two GPU's, one is a NVIDIA 9800 GT and the other is a Radeon HD 7750, my HDMI is plugged into the AMD card and I want to know if it's possible to have my NVIDIA card work solely for YouTube video decoding and have my AMD GPU for gaming and such.
I've looked around and I can't find any material on it, both of the graphics card run fine and my system boots up with both drivers installed, I just want to see if I can use them both now.

Need a bit more info , what drivers are you using, OSS or proprietary ?
Do you have multiple monitors or just one ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
(A works at time B) && (time C > time B ) ≠ (A works at time C)

I'm using one monitor and I'm using Open Source Drivers, I can switch to proprietary if necessary.

Stick with open sourcedrivers for now.
Although PRIME is normally used for allowing integrated and dedicated graphic cards to work together, its methods should be applicable to 2 discrete cards also.
please post xrandr --listproviders and try to configure PRIME_GPU_offloading
