[SOLVED] font problems

Hi, I've got a weird font issue. My fonts look garbled and unreadable in Firefox and Kalu. I made a new user and the problem is not there. Where in the user directory are the font configs located? Incidentally, this is Plasma desktop.

Thanks!

Sorry to ask the obvious, but did you try rebooting?  Did you try fc-cache -fv?

Yes and yes. I solved the problem; I disabled bitmap fonts and that seemed to clear it up. Thanks for the suggestions!
