Graveman problems

Hi!
I 've read all posts about graveman, but couldn't find solution of my problem.
1) Graveman cannot autodetect CD-writer. Adding it manually works.
2) Graveman cannot detect installed media when running by any user except root (I added users to optical group, but that didn't change anything).

Any ideas? If anyone had these problems and solved them - please help!
