Hi everyone i recently finished install archlinux and beeing configuring some thing but when i run
lshw
it's seem like the cpu clock is 100mhz and the gpu clock is 33mhz.
https://ark.intel.com/products/88185/In … o-3_30-GHz
thats my processor and its say its 2.7ghz to 3.3 and the gpu 350mhz to 950.
what can i do to fix it?
here is the output of
lshw

TL;DR : lshw is wrong / presents data in confusing way.
The cpu clockspeed is wrong.
My processor can be 800 / 1200 / 1700 or 2400 Mhz , and is running at 800 MHz according to "cpupower frequency-info"
lshw claims it's running at 200 .
The speed listed with the GPU is not the speed of the gpu, but that of the pci-bus slot it's attached to .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
(A works at time B) && (time C > time B ) ≠ (A works at time C)

So my gpu its limited by the pci-bus to 33mhz?
Offline
Not exactly , things are a lot more complicated then that.
Modern systems normally only use PCI-Express (3 variants ), but there are older buses : PCI-X / PCI / VLB / MCA / EISA / ISA
The original PCI standard ran on 33 Mhz or (rarely) 66 MHz .
Remnants of those old buses are still present in even the latest x86 processors.
For practical purposes you can ignore that clock speed.

Okay, thank you very much for your help!

don't forget AGP lol I got one of those video cards because they were faster than PCI at the time, and then they got phased out.
this was also when AMD and ATI were the dominators of computing, and they were both separate companies
