[SOLVED] No video output while installing for first time

I'm installing Arch from a USB bootable right now, and I'm able to get the menu up, where I can boot/look at hardware info/memtest/etc, but after I choose to boot I get a black screen (monitor loses source)

My monitor is plugged directly into a GPU, not a slot on the motherboard.

Is there anything I can do here?  I've Googled around and I haven't found a solution that works.

Thanks in advance.

Re: [SOLVED] No video output while installing for first time

Kernel_mode_setting#Disabling_modesetting
If that does not work please supply more information such as what kernel are you trying to boot, i686 or x64 , EFI or bios,  what is the GPU you are trying to use?
Edit:
Also welcome to the arch linux forums.
