Hi all,
I've been playing around with jwm and really like it. One thing I'm trying to do is find a lightweight network applet that can run in the tray. The network is manually configured now but I would like an applet for ease of use, especially when connecting to wireless networks. I've tried Gnome Network Manager but couldn't get it to work (said it couldn't find a network connection despite me being online) - but I had to install a bunch of extra dependencies that I would rather avoid.
Can someone please recommend to me a lightweight network manager with as few dependencies as possible?

Thank you, I've been there before but wasn't sure if there was one more suited to jwm. I tried out wicd and it's working nicely.
