where is wmii?

I went to install a fresh archlinux and I noticed that wmii is missing from packages. When did this get removed? I realize it's an old environment, but if there's interest, I could maybe try getting it into AUR.

Looks like it was removed some days back: https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/comm … 02c8398fea

Re: where is wmii?

So, it's been about a month. Is this the end of wmii in the official repo?

I think since it left [community] the answer is yes.  Might be in the AUR or you could pick it up and put it there.

Re: where is wmii?

Then feel free to pick up maintenance or find someone willing to do that, a thread to that regard would be better suited in the PKGBUILD Request boards however and presented in a new manner to gain traction.

The original purpose of this thread has been answered, as such I'm going to close this now.

Closing.
