Very slow x server startup

Recently when i decided to investigate my long boot times i discovered that it takes almost  2 minutes to start the x server. I switched temporary from sddm to lightdm as display manager to see if this was the cause but the problem remained the same.

journalctl --unit=sddm.service -x
/var/log/Xorg.0.log
I'm not sure which log files and info i need provide. Feel free to ask for more.

Thanks in advanced.

Re: Very slow x server startup

Your boot blocks because display managers try to access a cryptographic function during startup. That cryptographic function blocks until it has enough entropy. There are no errors in either of your logs, which further cements this assumption.

And you can't not have these "error" messages, they aren't error messages there either, it's an info message that the random seed is populated, the question is whether that has a significant delay compared to previous messages.

If you want me to absolutely verify this post a complete journal output of an affected boot (journalctl -b).

The test if it is the same issue, is to enable haveged and reboot, you waiting for this answer of mine will have taken much more of your time tongue .

Edit: What I'm also seeing, which might as well be contributing, it looks like you have entire xorg groups installed. Specifically remove every xf86-input package except libinput and every xf86-video package.
