Grub Rescue mode when I use rEFInd

I switched from grub to rEFInd a few months ago and had no problems.  Last weekend, I swapped out a hard drive to grab something off an old windows drive I had.  I reset some parameters on my motherboard to get the windows drive to boot.  I don't remember changing anything when I switched to rEFInd originally, but now I cannot boot back into my Arch drive.

It shows up on the bootable list, and when I select it, GRUB tries to boot and fails with the message: `file '/boot/grub/i3860pc/normal.mod' not found`.  It must have been resetting the motherboard settings, but I don't know what, if anything, would cause this behavior. I don't understand.

Re: Grub Rescue mode when I use rEFInd

What exactly did you change in your firmware setting?

Please post the output of

# efibootmgr -v
# parted --list
lsblk

Those commanda can be run from any "live" session.

And probably post your rEFInd configuration as well.

EDIT: I like your username btw.
