Hello,
I have a dual boot of Linux and Windows on my laptop with the Linux partition being an LVM. I originally allocated 63gb to the Linux disk to test it for a bit but would now like to shrink the windows partition and expand the Linux partition. How exactly would I go about doing this? Exact terminal commands would be super useful.
Here is my fdisk -l output: https://imgur.com/7pqbWGs
Feel free to ask for any other information.
Thank you so much!

So should I shrink the main 164gb windows partition and expand the 63gb Linux partition in gparted? Is there anything else for me to consider?

Yes.
Right click on ntfs partition and select shrink. then resize it to make free space
May you need to move partitions to free space kiss your lvm volume group, this needs a lot of time. then resize the other partition.
You should be careful, don't loss your important data.

So I shrunk the NTFS down to 30gb which created unallocated space. What do you mean by kiss my lvm?

Figured it by following the instructions in this post: https://superuser.com/questions/129465/ … ace-to-lvm
Thanks for all the help.
