Systemd services at shutdown

I am currently hosting a server for something which is not a service at default, I made a systemd service with that.
The server must be stopped before shutting down. Do system send a stop signal to every services during shutting down, like that done by systemctl stop service?

Re: Systemd services at shutdown

Have you read ExecStop entry of `man 5 systemd.service`?
