I am using the LTS-Kernel 4.19.36-1-lts. I had no problems so far, but since my last system upgrade sudo pacman -Syu, my System only boot occasionally. Most of the times, it gets stuck at Loading initial ramdisk.
It is installed on an external SSD and I tried it on my desktop pc and on my laptop, the issue appears on both machines.
When I add debug --verbose to the boot argument, it seems to boot more often. But even then it sometimes gets stuck (see the image below).

Don't post screenshots of text, paste the actual text.
And read the Code of Conduct and only post thumbnails http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Cod … s_and_code

I would like to paste the text, but since it only shows up during boot and it does not finish booting up, I cannot copy the text.

You can grab the previous boot's journal from a chroot. Get the pacman log while you are at it.

The boot procedure,s that got stuck do not appear in the list, when I enter journalctl --list-boots.
But here is my pacman log: https://gist.github.com/0x6368/bbafd2df … f5877c5f9e

Looks like my grub.cfg was not up to date. After I recreated it, everything works again.
