[SOLVED] gwenview not loading

When I start up gwenview-19.04.1-2 I get the following error

gwenview: error while loading shared libraries: libexiv2.so.27: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I have run reflector to get the most up to date repositories and did a pacman -Syy and reinstalled. Same error.

`-Syy` is forcing a partial upgrade and is unsupported.

Use -Syu.

My apologies. I just installed gwenview today using -S. This install produced the above error. So I updated my repositories just in case and used -Syy as I'm sure this was what I was told to do (obviously not). My normal update is as you suggested a -Syu.

Anyhow I called the -Syu and it did update exiv2 and gwenview is fine.

You live and learn.
