sudo pacman -Syu there is nothing to do

This may be just as simple as there hasn't been an update but it's been about a week now and there hasn't been anything. How do I fix this before i break everything when it works?

Update your mirror list.

Re: sudo pacman -Syu there is nothing to do

Have you checked if the mirror at the top of your  /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist has been updated recently? I.e. by checking if the mirror has the same updated packages (i.e. all of the recent updated packages as listed on the arch homepage)?

It appears some pacman mirrors are not as up to date as others.
