I was working out of one of my work folders a few days back in my Konsole terminal, now every time I boot up my pc, Konsole will be open and already in that directory. I'm using KDE, and turned off the autostart for Konsole, so it shouldn't be open on boot any ways. I even have the default directory to /home/user so if it is boot up it should only be ~. What can I do to fix this problem?

That's probably not some "autostart" but a restored session.

I was thinking same thing. Is there a way for me to stop that from occurring? I don't know how I got to start doing that in the first place.

Sessions are restored from ~/.kde/share/config/session - I'd log out of KDE and check the contents of that directory (maybe compare timestamps)

How do I check content if I'm signed out of KDE?

How did you install archlinux?

Can you specify what you mean?

Please describe how you installed Arch. The image and instructions you used.

I just used the regular 64 bit image and followed all the instructions from the installation guide. I followed it word for word, and chose broadcom-wl as my driver for internet. That's the only thing that I chose for myself in the installation process

Well, then why not switch to another VT and log into a console session?
Or install and log into an openbox session?
