IspCP Omega

I found this great new project called IspCP at http://www.isp-control.net/
It's a fork of VHCS if anyone is familiar with that. In short terms, it's a Multi Server Control and Administration Panel.

Here's a list of current supported distributions: http://www.isp-control.net/ispcp/wiki/u … ll/distros

My plan is to have archlinux on that list, here are a list of the deps: http://www.isp-control.net/component/op … view/id,3/

Now, there are some of those packages which I haven't found yet, i will post my list of archpackages when i get home tonight.

Does anyone like to collaborate with me on this? just pm/email me.

---

Ok, here's the packagelist, those that i'm uncertain of has a ?mark or a note behind them, the name of those packages are taken from the list further up in my post, the packages without ?mark or a note are package that I've managed to find, I haven't tested to see if all deps are contained within the packages already installed, me thinks not, so if anyone got a clue, let me know.

I've also switched to xtermins repo for perl stuff: http://xtermin.us/archperl/

Re: IspCP Omega

A couple of files for reference: http://arch.divint.no/jonn3/ispcp_arch/

the Makefile.archlinux is just a quick edit. I've also uploaded the current dependency list for debian sarge as a reference, I've never tried debian before, and the package-naming varies from distro to distro(which btw sucks), if anyone is using debian, let me know so that we can figure out if we are missing any deps from the list above.

Re: IspCP Omega

Most binary distros have a binary-only package and put headers needed for compilation in -dev packages.

Arch doesn't split the headers from the packages.

example : when you have libc installed you also have what the other distros put in libc-dev.
just add libc to dependencies.

tls is a security protocol (gnutls in arch) .
xxxx-tls probably means xxxx needs to support tls.
Check xxxx to see if it is built with tls-support (the answer will most likely be yes).

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

Re: IspCP Omega

I have created a Arch Linux PKGBUILD and submitted it into the AUR(Arch User Repositry),https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/IspCP.
A related wiki page was also created to explain the post-setup work need to be done,https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/IspCP.
