Firefox auto fullscreen (XFCE/Compiz)

Every time I open Firefox (Grease Monkey), it starts maximized and full screen. I have this issue for almost a month and I had it before, in the old install, but never got a solution for it. The only thing for now is to press F11 twice to get it back to normal.
I use XFCE and Compiz is my window manager.

Here's a screenshot: tMTN4ZQ

Is there anyone having the same issue?

Kind of a common issue, can't remember all the little solutions, but the first thing is after you get it back to normal, make sure you unmaximize the window, resize it significantly smaller than your screenspace, and then close it.

I did that, but I keep maximizing it from time to time. I wonder why only firefox has this behavior.

Re: Firefox auto fullscreen (XFCE/Compiz)

In Compiz general options, uncheck Unredirect Fullscreen Windows.  This causes issues with applications that have their own fullscreen capabilities.

Hi,
Try first this;
Delete ~/.mozilla/firefox/Profiles/xxxxx.default/localstore.rdf file.
If that's doesn't work try this;

mv ~/.mozilla ~/.mozilla.backup

Re: Firefox auto fullscreen (XFCE/Compiz)

Help!! My Wine and Dolphin starts as fullscreen as default when I'm using Compiz Fusion Icon but nothing goes wrong when I use Kwin. My Firefox is fine; my Konqueror isn't.

I tried to look for a solution through Google yesterday but I don't see anyone with the same problem so far.

In Compiz general options, my Unredirect Fullscreen Windows is unchecked.

Make sure you have disabled the following option:
CCSM -> Workarounds -> Legacy Fullscreen Support
