[solved] Crazy mouse after kernel 2.6.28 and nvidia 180 upgrade

I've upgraded the new kernel 2.6.28 and the nvidia driver 180.22. Everything seems to work fine except.... the mouse ! It seems that Xorg (or compiz I don't know I didn't manage to kill it) doesn't understand the mouse's mouvements.

When I move the cursor normally, Xorg understands it as a click ! When I move faster, the cursor goes to the corners of the screens without any fluidity. When I move the cursor on the desktop for a while, it is understood as many clicks and does "Right click => New Folder" or "Right click => Change Wallpaper". It's really weird.

I've downgraded the kernel and the nvidia driver and everything works fine now.

Am I the only one who encountered this issue ?

Thanks

Haven't heard of this.  You may want to upgrade the kernel and nvidia drivers separately to help isolate the issue.

You probably have the wrong mouse driver specified in xorg.conf.

No idea what it needs to be, but that bit of info should get you started.

Windows was made for looking at success from a distance through a wall of oversimplicity. Linux removes the wall, so you can just walk up to success and make it your own.

Problem solved !

I've plugged my USB mouse in an USB port and not with my PS/2 adaptator. Everything works fine now.

Thanks !
